i have to say that i finally went to my first brewer game in mid July when the d-bags...backs... were in town. i can honestly say that i couldn't have had a better time. miller park was amazing, and even though there was a loss...it was fun finding me on espn after one of the home runs landed in the section next to me.

only thing that i didn't like was that they have the kiss cam. i always get freaked out with those things.

i'm going to be going again in a week or so...when i get better

I agree. the Bears suck, and the Cubs suck.

The only good thing with the Bears is Brian Urlacher

Like choke the Packers in a 27-0 victory? Green Bay had the worst offseason in the NFC North and they'll be lucky to take 3rd in the conference. The Bears offense just improved dramatically, and we return 2 pro-bowl players to a defense that was injury depleted last season. Maybe you could talk crap if your favorite team wasn't on its way to the NFL basement for the next decade.

And talking about Cubs aces, we don't need Wood/Prior to have the two of the best pitchers in the MLB, Big-Z and Ted Lilly. Chris Capuano, is what, 0-11 in his last 12 games? Give me a break. The Brewers will be lucky to win the wild card, especially considering the Cubs only have 5 more series against teams with winning records, and we're just starting to turn it on.

It doesn't matter if the Packers are going to be in the 'basement'. They still play well against the Bears and that was just an off game for them. Rex Grossman is the downfall of the Bears. He just had a good beginning season and what did he do? Screwed the Bears out of a national championship. I'm a true Packer fan.. i've been one since the day I was born, and i'll be one until the day I die. I'm going to laugh when Green Bay beats the Bears this season.

I'm already laughing because you think Green Bay has a chance. You claim Grossman to be lousy? He threw three td's at the mighty frozen tundra last season in what was his third full game as an NFL qb, and he's only improving with experience. I know this will be difficult for him, but look for Rex to throw more td's this year than favre throws interceptions.

Let's keep this thread on topic, and go back to the Brewers. Thanks for losing another one.

That's funny, Glavine left the Brewers game with the lead, his relievers lost it. Do you watch sports, Jack?

I'd rather watch the Brewers give up 19 runs in a game than see an old, overweight, slow man hit home runs with the arms that steroids gave him.

steroids do not effect hand eye coordination. At all. They just don't improve it. And I also don't beleive they would slow down your swing. The more muscle development you have, obviously the harder your muscles will work. Its like saying if you have huge calf muscles your not going to jump high because your legs weigh too much.

Now, if he was bodybuilder big and had no lateral movement, it may be different.
