Did anyone else hear that the pitcher, Clay Hensley, that gave up #755 to Bonds was also busted for steroids in the minors. Seems ironic...

I heard a good point the other day.

People say Bonds 756 wasn't legit because of steroids, Hank did it clean.

But Hank also wasn't playing against the pitchers Bonds was. Pitchers who themselves, have also been accused of taking steroids. Given Hittin Hank played in this generation, I don't think he would have hit near 755.

If you take the right steroids you can improve eye vision from 20/20, top 10/20

You're incredibly incorrect. Why make a comment when you have no idea what you're talking about?

-----

There's a good chance that Bonds took/takes HGH --human growth hormone-- which the MLB doesn't test for. HGH literally improves the body in every way...better sight, vision, olfactory, strength, skin quality, the whole shebang.

And if you think he didn't take steroids, than how do you explain his hat size increasing by 3 over two seasons? Head growth is clinically proven when subjects are given synthetic testosterone, and a 3-size increase is unnatural...ie, that's the growth you'd see from age 7 to whenever you're finished with puberty. Bonds saw that growth when he was in his mid twenties.

P.S. Cubs 10, Rockies 2. Yesterday's score: Brewers 4, Rockies 19. Hmm.

i think you mean 20/10, because 10/20 is damn near blind

also, the brewers are slowly pissing their season away.. its sad to see but probably should've been expected

On the other hand, I do not believe bonds would have been able to deal with the extreme racism that surrounded Hank. That was a different time, no body wanted an african-american to hold the home run record.

P.S. Why does Bonds breaking the record matter so much, records are there as a goal, and are, therefore, made to be broken.

Have you seen the interview on espn? Hes getting death letters, extreme racism letters, and nasty emails from mad people. Hes going through a lot. People even trace his phone number to bug him. I am no fan but he is going through a lot.

Yeah I did actally, but the general public is not writting death threats, as the did in Hanks time. I'm not sayin Bonds isn't going threw alot, but I think that the racism Bonds is getting is from a small amount of people. Hank's was from an entire nation of Babe Ruth loving(don't get me wrong, I like the guy), open racists. Enough about the record though, I'm sick of the subject.

Because the career homerun mark IS the biggest record in sports. Hands down. Alot of people beleived Hanks record would never be broken.

The fact that Bonds broke it made an even bigger deal. One of the most hated men in sports tackles the greatest record in sports...obviously its going to be a big deal.

He "unwittingly allowed someone to put a cream on him which contained steroids." But of course, he "didn't know there were steroids in the cream."

You never know... the guy rubbing cream on him could have had alot of money riding on him getting the record broken.

Really, its hard to tell, I am not sure what to really think? Though he isnt sounding so believable with how he is going about it.

seeing how the guy rubbing the cream on him was his trainer who went to jail because he refused to testify, yeah that would lead me to guess he had some money involved

He has had the two biggest joke inside the parker's I've ever seen. Hits the roof of the Metrodome and every outfielder loses it, so he's able to run around before they find the ball. Then today some dumb OF feels the need to stand next to the ball for 10 seconds arguing, before picking it up and throwing it. Although I am loving this winning streak the Brewers are on. Wildcard is definately achievable... I don't think they can catch the cubs though, not without Gallardo.

...not to mention they don't have any semblance of a bullpen, or defense, or a pitcher other than Sheets.

What's wrong with our defense, the only weak link was Bill Hall. He hardly plays now that Branyan is up. The Cubs have more errors than the Brewers this year while having 40 less hits to field (espn.com). I guess they have no semblance of a defense either. Also Suppan is pretty good, Parra is what 6-2 now? Dave Bush almost had a no hitter last night. Our pitching hasn't been horrible. The bullpen is all we're missing.
