| I know in wrestling we do invites so we can get lots of matches from teams that we don't really see. I think lacrosse should do more invites/tournaments. In fact if you really want to get serious you can face your conference team first that way you get a scheduled game taken care of and get more matches. Any thoughts ? | |

| Talk to your coach. Last year we(AHS) did a tourny down in IL. I know Marquette did the same one. It's all up to your coach to schedule non conference games. About a tourny, again talk to your coach. A tournament takes A LOT of planning and time. You need the space for it(multiple fields, parking for all the teams/family of team members, food/bathrooms, etc.)
My point is, if you want to play non-conference games or in random tournys, it's up to your coach to make those plans with the other teams.

| Then have your coach call more teams, lol. I would say that most teams are very open to playing non conference games as long as they aren't before big conference games and as long as the other team has a good reputation. I would NEVER schedule a non conference game against Kenosha...they are a bunch of hacks and it's a sure way to get some players injured. | |

| I wouldn't mind it. I think it would be awesome. It would be cool to have a Stoughton Invite, but I have no clue how to even bring something like that up let alone set it up. | |

| Most of them are in the summer for a reason...so they don't interfere with regular season play. It would suck to have your star player get hurt in a tournament that means nothing when you got the regular season to worry about.
But it would be nice to get more local/in-state tournys during the off season.

| i think a majority of players would be interested in this fall ball league, all that needs to happen is to have someone set it up. | |
