Okay. Now most of the starting lines have been filled. Check the draft form. I need 10 more people from each person, make sure you fill your positions and have enough to fill your subs. Get these to me ASAP!

Yeah... just keep it, I wasnt thinking. Can everyone PM me their full team roster with your tenative starters. # Name Team Position I would like to do some fun messing around and setting up fantasy matches starting next week on here. Also submit your user name on the league plus a fantasy team name.

So send me a PM that looks like this...

Quote :

League Name: tdflax2008
Fantasy Team: Top Gun
Attack
• Danowski (Duke) *
• Davis (Priceton)
• Billings (Virginia) *
• Dickson (Delaware) *
• Balise (UMass)
Midfield
• Ross (Duke) *
• Klover (Princeton)
• Carroll (Virginia) *
• Hardy (Syracuse)
• Dennis (Drexel)
• Cahill (Delaware) *
Defense
• John's Hopkins *
• Drexel
Goalie
• Gvozden (John's Hopkins) *

Set up individual matches per weekend.... will just be for fun to have a reccord based on how many points you score each weekend. If you dont like that idea, I still would like everones rosters, I forgot to record the final rounds for some.

Partially because of Greer, who is playing attack. Razz

Pretty much, he also picked up Gladding who is putting up rediculous numbers at attack with Greer, and Corp is tearing middie up for Colgate. Not to mention his defense is racking up points, I think he has 26 from them... nuts.

Sadly Danowski hasn't exploded yet, I don't think he did anything vs. Presbyterian today.

Yeah... I made two mistakes in doing the draft... forgot your defense pick... and missed Nate's pick for Quinzani.

If you cant pick up free agents at some time, i would be willing to trade my back up defense, Drexel to you for who ever you choose.

Fantasy Lacrosse Update

Just some updates to show the rest of the forums how everyone is doing, below is a list of who is leading in the rankings as far as points overall, and then each person top point scorer. If it's not apparent, goalies and defense seem to be scoring big points for most teams.

Leader Board:
1. Jack 164.01 pts (Most Points: Navy Defense - 46)
2. Tony 127.26 (Most Points: Matt Danowski (A) 22)
3. Nate 117.17 (Most Points: Duke Defense - 38 )
4. Warrior 102.42 (Most Points: Matt Coughlin (G) - 22.42)
5. MUHS 91.79 (Most Points: Dan Loftus (G) - 34.79)
6. Relic 49.89 (Most Points: Tom Scherr (G) 20.9)

I know I made some mistakes when doing the draft, Nate was shorted a player on my fault. He never obtained his ninth round pick of Max Quinzani, I wasn't sure if I missed it or what, but Max is not on his roster. Thus I shall award Nate points at the end of the season equal to the amount of points Max Quinzani scored, minus 6 from the first two games that we missed due to a late draft. And will not obtain any points from the ninth round pick that was made of Jack Riley.

Due to another error on my part MUHS never received his defensive draft pick due to me missing a PM. MUHS will be awarded points for Delaware's defense at the end of the season.

So now that those errors have been handled some pointers to throw out. I have noticed that my pick of Hopkins defense was not a smart pick, only pulling in 14 points so far, and I have seen the reason being, that they play alot of really strong teams during their season, games that usually have high scoring with very low point spread, making it hard to pull massive points in each game. And they are still facing some tough teams. And Jack's pick of Navy has scored him a good fraction of his overall points, with Navy letting in an average 4.5 goals per game. And them seem to be a high grade team playing alot of low tier teams.

As for goalie, its a very similar situation, a goalie playing for a god defense is going to pull in good points.

And middies and attack, its the pure fact that if they score points, they are good. Jack seems to have picked up one of the best picks of Zach Greer. He was listed as a middie on their roster, and is putting up points as if he were attack, and he's mostly playing attack. It's not cheap, nor an error the part of lax.com, but he is technicalley an offensive midfielder. Nice pick of that by Jack.

Other than that, everything is going good other than the fact that Butters couldnt manage to come through after signing up and couldnt activate his roster after randomly chosen.

Good luck on the rest of the season all!

This weekend is going to be huge too, lots of good teams going against each other. I'm afraid to see what Dino and Greer do this weekend

Well, I chose a smart thing to do. Dropped JHU as my defense and made Drexel active instead, which was smart on my part. JHU would have got me no points today in their loss, and Drexel managed to score me 7. Though Gvozden's goalie rating went up big time today with around 20 saves and what not. Pulled in just over 30 points just today!d

Just a note to all.

If you need to make some position switches, do so before this weekend. Stats from the tournament count towards points. So if you have a player who's team didnt make it to the tourney, sub them for players who did to make sure you are getting the most points you can.

You are all welcome for the pointer.
