Obviously you guys at Arrowhead have a lot of depth (as you always do), though who does Eastside have that provides solid depth besides Joe Botticelli and Kyle Franzen? Regardless, it should be a good game and a solid early season tests for both squads. The game is Tuesday at Mt. Mary, right? 5:30?

| yes the game is 5 30 tuesday at Mt. Mary College I believe, but I have no idea where that is...then we play USM friday at USM which should be another good game, since Arrowhead has always had a rivalry with them in "rich boy sports" (hockey lacrosse golf) plus most of the kids from arrowhead and usm are good friends.. then arrowhead is in appleton for a double header against appleton and menasha. | |

| Marquette enters the meat of their schedule this week, as first we have a game against Brookfield on Wednesday. Then, this weekend, the Hilltoppers travel to Indianapolis for the annual Brebeuf Jesuit Invitational, where we will play some tough out of state competition including St. Louis University Prep (MO) - they were ranked in the top ten in the Midwest by Inside Lacrosse two weeks ago, Brebeuf Jesuit (IN), and St. Ignatius (IL). | |

| Hummel - illegal stick - 3 minute penalty allowing 3 points for Waunakee
#20 Waunakee deffense - main player on defense this game
#11 Waunakee Attack - Most Points
#3 Waunakee Middie - Won 9/10 face offs which led to fast breaks and easy goals
#17 Middleton Middie - Tons of penalties
Waunakee had tons of fast breaks which led to easy goals, main downfall for Middleton was the number of penalties and number of lost faceoffs.

| no no no... hummel's stick was illigal by 1/8th inch... not wide enough apparently..
middleton was up 3-1 waunakee scored 3 unanswered hummel got that penalty, 3 more.... it was an awesome game but would have been better if that penalty wouldn't have occurred.
Props to Waunakee you all looked pretty good.

| first of all, i'm not bitter about the game. very well played on both sides.
middleton came out and dominated the first quarter. leading 2-0 but it was a huge difference how much better we were playing. had possession almost the entire time
waunakee came out strong after that and played a better ground ball game
faceoffs by my count (and trust me i'm right) were split 50/50 for both teams.
penalties decided to decide the game.
the big one was hummel's stick. he has a evo pro that was off by less then 1/8" obviously illegal is illegal, but after the game i asked them to show it to me. the two refs both measured it differently. when i got my hands on it, it was less then 1/16" or right on. you should have seen the measuring tape they had. HA
anyway, dumb penalties were called especially for swearing for middleton and that decided the game.
#17 didn't get a penalty... so.....? idk what game you were watching/playing in
waunakee played pretty sound and you could really tell that the home field (fans not refs) pumped them up for the entire game. unfortunately we only were pumped up for 3/4 the game. good game waunakee, see you at middleton next time!
*** i forgot to mention that waunakee's goalie stood on his head today...amazing job *** definitely have to give props to him

| Agreed we came out with fire in the first quarter, we were very focused and ready to play, again like Guru said penalties are what decided a win from a loss but this loss is only a steppiong stone to the top! Cant wait to have Waunakee on our home field! good game both teams tonight | |
