PostSubject: NFL(DRAFT)   Mon Apr 28, 2008 11:37 pm

Since we discussed a little bit of NFL in another thread I thought I'd start a conversation on this years Draft. I'm a Packer fan, but I've never really been a huge fan of their draft decisions in recent years, minus Hawk. I find it hilarious that the Packers drafted Brohm, mainly because a roommate of mine is a Vikings fan and the entire Fall complained about their QB situation and desperately wanted them to draft Brohm. I'm hoping the two rookies they drafted will create some competition between those two and Rodgers, in hopes that one of them will become a competent starter for the Packers right away this year.

I don't care for the NFL at all.

NCAA sports is where it's at. Once it gets to the pros, I lose all interest since they just don't play like the kids do in college(minus NHL).

I'd tend to agree with that statement, but you just killed my mojo. Crying or Very sad I'll watch the Packers or top tier teams in the NFL, otherwise pro sports are lame. I'd say besides College Lacrosse, College Basketball has by far the biggest gap in terms of enjoyment to watch over it's professional relative.

Lol, didn't mean to kill it.

I missed all the draft so I have no idea who went where...but it will be interesting to see what happens IF Favre does come back.

Kansas City picked up some good linemen on both sides.

But yeah... I am fine with professional football, hockey and a little baseball, but professional basketball and most other stuff is just eh. NCAA takes it with lacrosse, football and basket ball, hockey can be good, but college baseball is almost unheard of.

Lets fix that up.

Nick Hayden, who graduated from Arrowhead in 2004 and then played for the Badgers, got drafted to Carolina.

Well if you made fun of Arrowhead then they would be forced to bring out some of those lovely Marquette lacrosse party pictures.

whoa, where did you hear that? If Favre came back I don't think he would play for anyone but the Packers.

I don't know how much legitmacy you can give to this already self entitled rumor. I didn't have much luck finding it on espn anywhere, including the NFL's rumor central page.
