what to get? i dont exactly NEED one but a new one would be nice. im using a brine e3 and a harrow attack. its pretty heavy. i was thinkin about a stx kannon with the crankshaft 7050 grip or the clutch with some shaft. any suggestions from anyone. i just play normal middie. nothing special. no face off either

I play FO middie and LSM and the Clutch and the Bionic work miracles for both. Clutch is an all around great head.

As far as shaft, anything with a decent price is usually good.

I have an STX Kannon. Great head, holds up for the money and has a really good pinch. The only problem I have had with it is that because the throat is so short the head gets whipped around a bit on catches and it made the screw hold really big where you screw the head into the shaft. So i just taped the head around its throat to secure it better.

in the end, it's personal prefference.

A shaft is a shaft is a shaft, it's not really gonna matter which one you get - it's a prefference thing. Warrior's kryptolyte or krypto-pro is always a good bet, as is STX's Axe c405, or if you like gait go with the db803. i would stay away from brine shafts.... the swizzle's seem to be holing up pretty well that i have seen, but brine shafts have a nasy habit of being light and breakable.

heads. for a middie, you have the luxury of choosing whether you want a more offensive or defensively minded head. if i t were my choice, i would get the brine clutch, the gait torque, warrior's evo or razor 2.0, STX's xcaliber or proton power.

you really cant go wrong with any of the above equipment combination. just remember, in the end it's all personal prefference. if it were my call, i would grab a Proton Power or the Clutch and slap that on a Kryptolyte.

ps - it's the majician, not the wand, that makes the show entertaining.

if you get a Proton power, just dont expect it to last all season, ive gone through 2 now, and neither lasted more htan 6 months. on the positive note, while it was in 1 piece, it was imho the best head ive ever used.

he's just a little rough with them. Mine has warped a little, but nothing to bad. The Proton Power is a great choice. As for shafts...its all up to you

It doesn't really matter too much and it's just what you feel the most comfortable stringing. All of my best sitcks have been warrior evolutions. They string really well. The orginal razer is another stick that makes a really good pocket.

maybe the weather was cold, but i sold a brand new razer to a friend and he absolutely destroyed it in one game. broke it in 4 spots.

but i agree, the stringing on the head will effect a lot of how you play.
