I'd guess a Lake Country team will be at state |

| SP 7/8 beat Waunakee 8-3 in the semi final then beat Middleton to get to the state game. They finished the season 12-2 overall. congrats |

| The 5th/6th grade game is supposed to be at 5pm Saturday at Middleton after the high school championship. The 7th/8th grade game follows at 6:30. I thought the Madison teams were supposed to play Milwaukee teams for the youth championships. Did Mayla not hold playoffs? Are they sending the regular season champs? |

| Brookfield beat Sun Prairie 7-5.
Brookfield had a 5-4 lead when the game was delayed. When they started (5 minutes left) Brookfield won the first face off and scored ending any chances for SP to come back. It was a great game to watch except for the Brookfield assistant coach acting like a Jackass. It was a great state championship weekend even with the inclement weather. It would not have happened with out Middleton’s excellent facility and all the volunteers from the local clubs Verona, Sun Prairie, Waunakee and of course Middleton. |

| Robin Buckley should have a list of every club in the state.
The WLF needs a youth representative to take care of this kind of stuff and move it forward state wide. Mala pretty much just made it happen without WLF doing anything. That's maybe why some teams did not realize we had a title game. |

No, the the bayval has no organized youth league, just a few things run through the YMCA. But the schools all for the most part have JV teams and full varsity and JV schedules. Also in my opinion the WLF doesn't do nearly as much as it should. |
