its obvious the coaches didnt take the mala all conference seriously.

imo, probably only a few coaches took the voting seriously, and looked at it without a bias. aka, did it the right way

i honestly think that the statement is bogus. why wouldn't coaches take this serious? speaking from being one the past three seasons with middleton... i know i took it very serious and know the other coaches in the league did so as well.

and to only comment on the hoeft thing, how many times did middleton go MAN DOWN in those games. the answer is a lot... you can only save so much with more people shooting, less defending.

even strength, tate is the better goalie IMO

Hoeft is such a solid and consistent goalie, waunakee wouldn't have been such a solid team this year without him, would still take him over any goalie in state this past year

you cant say that every single goal waunakee scored in those games were man up. waunakee went man down plenty as well, and hoeft made those saves.

but hey, thats your opinion, and i respect that.

the all conference thing, from what i was told, each coach nominated and ranked 5 players from their team. 5 verona first teamers, and several stoughton and janesville players on first team. chris severson was easily one of the best attackmen in the conference from waunakee, who wasnt first team, and tyler brewster was one of the best d-poles in the conference, and only got honorable mention. there werent enough players from some of the top teams, like middleton, sun prairie, and waunakee. i think the way bay val did it was the best way to remove bias towards own players

Just because Waunakee won conference doesn't mean they have the best players, they have the best team. Based on your logic it would have been rediculous for both Boyd and Neuman to be first team all conf when Middleton/Verona were tops. I only really focus on goalies when I watch teams, so can't say I noticed any of those Waunakee players and not saying they're not worthy. Just pointing out your logic is flawed.
