Summer Select Teams Results and Conversation

Team Madison went down to the New Trier Tourney in New Trier, Illinois, and here are the results

TM vs South Chicago Select 5-1 (win)
TM vs North Chicago Select 11-3 (win)
TM vs Fenwick Academy 12-3 (win)
TM vs Hinsdale Central 6-5 (loss)
TM vs New Trier 9-2 (win)

Wow... that great to see they are doing good. And sounds like they are playing some good competition as well.

From what I remember the Chicago Select teams were usually made of Junior and Seniors that were going to play in college, mostly DII and DIII schools.

Congrats, those are some top notch teams(at least New Trier was when we played them a couple years ago) that you beat. Keep up the good work.

Yea, it was a great weekend of Lax, and well I think it helped our team really grow, so we can be ready for the next tourney, which should be a lot stronger competition. Also, we won the first game 9-1, I believe.

Good job! Very Impressive. Does anyone have any specifics? Did the Illinois teams do anything different than you normally see in Wisconsin? Who played well for Team Madison?

Everyone on the team did something to contribute, Neuman was winning faceoff after faceoff.. Randy's signature shot fake was getting everyone.. defense shut down offenses, goalies played great.

a little off topic but The Big Dipper, why do almost all of the middleton d-poles pass underhand??

something tells me no, but well done none-the-less. that's pretty impressive.

it was there second team, and honestly only 2 of our poles this year really passed underhand, #91 tyler lundy and #69 Cody Hurd. I believe this has something to do with the fact that they both play hockey...

When is Team Madison's next game/tourney?

all i know is that the Milwaukee select U18 team is going to play in the notre dame tournament this weekend

Madison's next tournament is the Chicago Challenge... the last weekend in July

if anyone can provide more details they would be appreciated. i currently have no friends in real life due to various job situations and hence i would love to watch some high school lax.

We would also like details about this game. If it's at 6pm than we can make it and will be more than happy to shoot the game for both teams.

Please for those of you that have more info post it here but I will also contact the coaches of Team Madison for the game info.

Milwaukee will be missing some kids but pretty sure the game is still on.

The game is at 6, at Dretzka Park in Milwaukee.
