seems like whenever my middie line gets in, were always on defense, like on average, i think im in the offensive zone like 3 or 4 times per game. now dont get me wrong, i like playing middie D, but we dont score goals when the ball is in our defensive zone. i dont know if this is enough information to diagnose the problem, i was just wondering what im doing wrong?

You're not getting the ball, when some of the kids on your line get it they try to run it and lose it.. could be either of those.

that has happened to Bay Port a few times this year and alot last year. The problem is that your D is not pressuring enough and getting the ball back. play hard on the adjacents and you should be able to shut down their passing lanes. also cut off the skip passes and keep with the cutters.

It sounds like less of a problem with your defense and more of one with your offense...probably the middies.

You need to maximize your possesions. Instead of getting the ball, running down the field and shooting it right away, bring the ball downfield and SLOW IT DOWN. Run a set offense and take your time. By default, your defense will get the chance to take a breather and calm down, and you'll spend more time on offense.

In practice, start off with a fast break. If there's no good shot to be had, pull the ball out and slow it down. Move it around the offense at least twice before anyone dodges or takes a shot. Take your time with the ball and DON'T FORCE ANYTHING. Keep moving the ball until their defense breaks down, and then try to score.

haha both mine and Dwins are good advice depending on the problem. If getting the ball back is the major problem then mine but if it is keeping the ball then Dwins and finally it is probably a mixture so use both

in my little bit of experience, we do the best harrassing the guy with the ball and blocking off the passing lanes, gettin ur sticks in there and stuff like that.
