PostSubject: Grand Forks Flooding   Grand Forks Flooding EmptyThu Mar 26, 2009 1:32 am

Figured I would just make this so I can keep you guys updated on what's going on out here. Last I heard Obama declared ND a 'Federal Disaster Area'.

Current and projected river levels

Interesting set of pictures showing the different water levels

As for what's going on here, lots of people have gone to help sand bag houses outside of the levies and dikes. Also earlier this week a bunch of people went down to Fargo to sand bag because they are getting the flooding worse than we are right now.

If anything new happens out here I'll let ya guys know.

Thanks Jack.

As of now UND has canceled all of today's afternoon classes as well as Friday and Monday so students can help fill sand bags in areas that need it.
