| How?...I didnt think Andover was that good. They only beat us by 2 and we played a trash game. Only thing I can think of is that Middleton had an off game or Andover played bad agaisnt us or really good agaisnt Middleton. | |

| they had a pretty good game, going into it, i thought for sure middleton would win, and they were up by at least one, maybe 2 i cant remember at one point, but andover was holding the ball a lot in middletons defensive zone, and it seemed at times middleton had trouble getting the ball to thier offensive zone. could have gone either way i think though, and in a rematch, ide still bet on middleton. on a diffrent note, im sure lefty will be in this thread talking about how nice my goal looks at his house, thats how sure i was middleton was going to win

| Middleton was all in versus Sun Prairie, which they won 5-4. And in the final, they played alot of JV players to get them some time.
Middleton was more into it to beat Sun Prairie rather than win the whole thing today.

| yeah, middleton really stopped caring after opening the 4-1 halftime lead. some of the guys admitted to me that they only came to the tournament to beat SP. | |

| We were up 4-1 going into the half. Then, we started having break downs on slides and unneccessary penalties. Andover had finely conditioned athletes up and down their roster. They were able to go 100% in the second half. Things got a little chippy and talky, but I was proud of my players for how well they were able to stay composed in spite of this. In the end though, we really wanted to take another shot at Sun Prairie before the city-wide tourney. So, we are satisfied that our wish was granted. Though, congrats to Andover for beating two of the better teams that Wisconsin has to offer. | |

| All right, I wasn't going to get involved in these forums, but I wanted to share the funniest thing that I heard at the Bullrush. I was in the scorer's table area right at the end of the championship game, along with the tournament director and a few other adults. I heard the tourney director get rankled about something. She said one of the Andover players had just come off the field yelling "My cock hit him in the face!". He yelled it twice. She was appalled, and said something to the Andover coach, telling him exactly what had been heard.
The coach smiled at her and told her that #23 (or whatever number) was named "Mike Hoch".
The only thing we could reply was, "his parents are really mean".
Hoping my using bad language on this forum doesn't start a trend...

I'm the old guy that runs around (in stripes) pretending to know all the rules. I was also a field director for the Bullrush.
