Super tight game, we were down 2-0 at halftime, came back to win it.

UWM couldn't score on Butters, he was a brick wall. He made about 6 amazing saves.

UWM Finishes the regular season undefeated, and were GLLL East Division Champs.

One question, is the Marquette team that you guys played the MCLA team or the College team?

no, the "college lacrosse" team is in no way affiliated with the Marquette Club Lacrosse Team that plays in the MCLA. it's an interesting relationship.

Whitewater beat MSOE handily at 5-2. Game was only close because it was out of hand from the start. Game vs Milwaukee I believe we were up 2-1 at half? I'm not sure but it was close throughout we just couldn't capitalize on our chances.

Wait, I am still confused then. Did UWM beat you guys Garvin? Because I know that Laxpower says that UWM was supposed to play College Lacrosse today. So does that mean that UWM beat College Lacrosse or Marquette U?

There are two teams at Marquette University, both are club teams.

One is the Marquette University Men's Club Lacrosse team. They are officially recognized by the Univeristy and they compete in the MCLA's UMLL conference. We finished with a 1-10 record in the MCLA, 1-6 in the UMLL. I play for this team.

The other club lacrosse team at Marquette University is known as the "College Lacrosse" team. They compete in the GLLL with UWM and UWW, and others. I'm not sure how they are connected to the University, or if they are at all. Apparantly they're having a pretty good season?
As far as i know, a few guys from the MCLA team separated from the MCLA team to create their own team. Reasons that i've heard: 1)couldnt come up with enough money to pay the dues for the MCLA team, 2)didnt like the policies that the MCLA team followed(no drinking the night before a game), 3)didnt like the staff in the MCLA team.

I personally have no beef with the other team, I actually think they're pretty cool guys. But there were some hostile feelings at the start of the semester when the MCLA team found out we were going to be missing a solid chunk of our players.... a few of those guys on the GLLL team would have been impact players on the MCLA team.


BUTTTT, now that i've stolen the topic.... congrats once again to UWM, i'm really excited for your appearence(?spelling?) in the MCLA next season. See if you guys cant replace UW Stevens Point in the UMLL 1 - rumor has it that UWSP is leaving the UMLL. If we can get two MCLA D.1 teams in the same city, well let's just say that would be nuts. That's kinda stupid that there are two teams for the same school if you ask me.

i was there. i caught the first quarter of the msoe whitewater game. then i got cold and sat in the car. it was 15 degrees colder at klezstch(spelling?) then here.

Yeah, no I got their later. Just in time for the MSOE and Whitewater game. Why wasn't Colin there? I didn't see him at all.
