| pretty much what i was saying for playoffs. middleton honestly came out against waunakee with big heads. after a very good waunakee team scored a few unanswered a lot of kids quit.
it is addressed and you can expect a different middleton team next time we see you guys. class acts though, you guys have an amazing team for respect/skill.

Middleton - 2 Wow, could never have predicted an outcome like that, box score or anything to show how a 10 point margin happened?

| penalties on our end, leading to them scoring. pretty much nothing new for us on our end. a lot of players quit, so i put in players who didn't want to quit even if their stick skills/athleticism isn't up to par. | |

| If holes in the gloves are due to natural wear...they usually wont be called by a ref. It's if you intentionally cut material away that will put you in the box. | |

Middleton - 2 It is great to hear that Waunakee is playing so well this year. Coach Mike and his crew are obviously doing a great job providing direction and discipline for this team and I really wish I was in the States to be there with them this year. Middleton is always a powerhouse team and I'm glad the boys kept moving forward following last years heartbreaker in the playoffs. Obviously the team has a lot of talent too, I saw it in them when I coached with Mike last year. Seeing the scores is one thing, but people's reactions here and my brother's front-line reports after playing in the games have given me what I hope is confirmation that the team is a serious contender this year. Congratulations to Waunakee and also to the rest of MALA-things have changed a lot since those first few years and I'm glad to see such sportsmanship (at least on these boards) that has emerged between every team.

you're lucky, we've had Sid every game this year except one, and our game vs you was his best called game all year for us.

| Arrowhead (#2) vs Wausua (#4). Wausua was leading 5-0 after first but arrowhead came back despite penalties and won 10-8. Wausua is a good team, #9 and #20 were both great players.

| yeah the arrowhed/wausau was outstanding...wausau can move the ball very well and it was a high paced and suspenseful game. It showed great character for Arrowhead to come back from 5-0 down. Watch out...Wolfpack definently have some serious skill! | |

Well they lost to arrowhead 10-8 and at last i heard, beat stoughton after, but laxpower probably just entered it wrong as stoughton instead of arrowhead?

| I travelled to see Wausau play two games this weekend. It was worth the trip to see Arrowhead on Saturday.
I have long felt Mark Howard was the best coach in the WLF. He proved it in spades on Saturday.
Wausau came out gunning and was up 5 goals; but the AHS kids and their coach showed a ton of character. It came down to game time adjustments. AHS made them and Wausau didn't.
Wausau lost their best player #28 against Neenah. I think I heard Rich Poirier broke his ankle and is done for the season. That is too bad. The D ran out of gas in the second half against AHS without him. AHS figured out how to expose this in the second half and Wausau's D and coaching staff had no answer.
Also, I can't understand why they had their top middie Nate Condon #9 playing on the third line. He should have been in there more. Big mistake. That kid is the real deal. He has a second gear that is unreal.
For AHS, #20 Grimes is a stud. He was a true difference maker. I saw Wausau kids bouncing off him all day. The AHS goalie settled down in the second half and he played exceptional.
Wausau should win the BAyVAL, but if they don't figure out a solution on D and get their middies playing more stout they will have a hard time winning against MALA or MAYLA's top teams. at State.
By the way, what happened to Middleton? Am I reading the Waunakee score correctly?
Congrats to AHS. Great Game!

| Sound like a good game from both teams. Yea Bay Port is struggling, the have a young D and a new goalie so if they can some how patch that up they should start to do better. Their attack and middies(I think) could compete with any one if they got the ball. Also I asked this on a different tread but can anybody give me any info on University School of Milwaukee. Good palyers and stuff. thanks | |

| really poirer is out for the season? dang i didnt even know that yet. condon was playing third line i think because it was sort of a punishment. he slacks off in practice and he skipped the neenah game on friday to go play hockey so thats why i think the coaches did it. they replaced him with his brother ryan for the game. | |

| Janesville vs Sun Prairie
S.P. Won 14-4 I think
We had one ref, Sid Flanders. . . I think thats all that needs to be said. He made lots of "questionable" calls especially against Sun Prairie. It seemed like he wanted us to win but despite the calls Sun Prairie won the game. Besides for a lot of "questionable" calls Sun Prairie remained classy and respectful, they played a solid game and tore us up on the crease
http://www.petitiononline.com/removsid/petition.html that comes to my mind to. . .
