Hopkins LOST!

to Hofstra 8-7 in OT.. amazing

I heard that, its just nuts. The had to battle with UMBC I think it was earlier this week and then lost here, maybe they arent all what they are being talked to be.

Sad to see them loose to Hofstra though, hopefully it wasnt like their only loss they will have, cuz we know they need to loose another vs. Duke... lol

as i remember they lost a game early last season that was supposed to be an easy win...im not counting them out for the championship just yet.

IDK... they also had a close game with UMBC. They loose two or so more and they could not make it to the tournament.

Hopkins went 4-4 in their first 8 games last season, let's not worry about them quite yet.

Really 4-4, I only thought they lost 2, should pay a little more attention.

They then went on to win 9 in a row.

They have a tough lineup ahead of them.

Cuse, Virginia, UNC, Duke... followed by Maryland and Navy. First four are contenders this year, not so much Cuse as the others.

Yeah, high probability all or most of those teams will make the tournament, in my opinion.

Wow dude, they just lost again. I think they are going to bounce back, but they picked the wrong time to lose 2 in a row. Now they face the acc back to back.

For sure... he is really pumpin the whole team up it seems. Its not like he is the only one tearing it up, his presence is making a whole team just preform like nothing else.

Glory year for Cuse?

I sure hope so, I've been a 'cuse fan ever since I found out what lacrosse was. I hope I get to see them play out in Foxboro.

I can deffinately see them in the top 4, not 100% sure if they will hit finals. Would have to get the number three or two spot to have the best chances.

Most likely Duke takes the top spot and goes versus the equivalent 4th. And 2 v. 3. I forget how championship weekend works though.

I am starting to think Duke, Cuse, Virginia and JHU will be the final four, or that would be cool if it ended like that, but can it?

That's what I'm thinking the final four will be.

I'm hoping for Duke, UVA, Hopkins, and Cornell honestly, but who knows.

I wouldn't really say he came out of nowhere... hes a captain and has been a huge contributor for a couple years now

Well as in, he was on no ones radar and that he is very under-rated, which I will guess is because he missed that year. But he is playing much better than he did last year.

what makes you think hes on 'noones radar'?

they talked about him on the pre-season show on ESPN... hes a household name if you are a d1 fan... idk what you are talking about

I said he came out of no where this year, meaning there was not much talk of him last year, if any, compared to this year. I know he's one of the top players, but he's one of those players that has never got any recognition for what he's capable of until this year. Compared to Danowski, Greer and others, Brooks is talked about very little.

Well it's kind of hard to talk about someone last year when they were hurt all last year.
