this stuff is intense

Its going to be a constant cycle of fixing and and hacking, fixing and hacking and just get annoying like no other.

Well, I saw they had a new page up. A placeholder that is acutally showing they are making a security upgrade, I am hoping they have a recently backed version of the forums to upload if they are infact making a change to Cpanel, which is a strong program that should hopefully make it more difficult for the hackers to gain access to be able to redirect URL's.

Nothing super technical about it, they were repeatedly being hacked.

does anyone else share this concern? or am i the only one?

Just dont share any personal information over TLF. TLF is not a secure site, any information such as address, name, literally anything you share on there can be accessed by anyone with a decent computer mind.

I doubt these kids are going to look through everyones user names, find their IP address, and hack their computer. Thats a risk you pose by visiting any website though.

Besides, to be honest, if they're a good hacker no preventive measure you have on your computer will stop them. There is holes in every operating system, in every web browser. Like Jaron said, don't output any confidential information about yourself and you're doing everything you can.

Anyone get an email from a lacrosse forums person about a website called g00ns.net? I opened it b/c I have a mac so feel safe from bugs, but anyone else get this? Don't recommend going to the site w/o a non-PC.

Macs are significantly more vulnerable if you use Safari, in comparison with Firefox/Internet Explorer it is significantly the weakest in security. Now granted you could use the windows version of Safari and be in the same boat, but who would be dumb enough to do that...
