Brewtown Showdown

Who all is attending the Brewtown Showdown? Stoughton got a team together this year for it and we're going. I'm looking forward to playing teams from out of state.. it'll be a first time expierance for me.

I hear the Channel 4 News team is going to be there...they should be pretty good.

AHS will prob have a team or 2 or 3 in it.

There will be a GB area team there and prolly will be accompanied by some wausau kids and OC, Brad Simpson from Neenah.

Does anyone know of an Adult team I coould get on for this. I don't think I'm going to do Badger State because it is my last weekend home, but I would like to get on a team for the Brewtown.

Yea, if anyone has a couple spots open me and a couple other waunakee alums wouldnt mind getting into brewtown or badger state.

we are currently working on an alum team for badger state...we got 20 or so guys in our facebook group and um about half have replied and of those half, its a toss up for who can make brewtown v. badger state i believe right now we have 8 for brewtown, and maybe 6 for badger state...haha this is with some northshore kids, MU guys, and Gebhardt

I wonder if I will end up in the same situation as last year, playing bor Verona as well as my own team because V-Town laxers decide not to show. But really, I wouldnt mind it, I need to get in as much lacrosse as I can, it aint as big in the Kansas City area.

No, way bigger in St. Louis. In Missouri as a whole it is bigger, Jaron can vouche for that. But in Western Missouri, where there is a Kansas City, KS division and Kansas City, MO division, there isnt much that college offers there that I am aware of, and no tourneys unless I travel to St. Louis, which is possible.

Yea STL is much more lacrosse oriented then KC, where there is no colegiate lacrosse. Although at the highschool level, Rockhurst Jesuit is very good. In 2006 they went 27-0, won the state championship, and finished 22 in the country in US Lacrosse rankings. Although thats basically it for KC.
