First off congrats Randy, great year for you, good luck with your college endeavors.

Now for my comments, I think Dalton Bloom and Jake Berkvam should have been higher on the list, they are both great players that make the game exciting to watch. (Even if they are beating my kid's team) Also would have been nice to see an honorable mention for d-pole Cody Jensen of Janesville.

It's hard to make an AC list that makes everyone happy. This one's no different.

On a related note Coach Darcy from West was named Coach of the Year. Congrats to him and good luck to West vs Waunakee.

Coach Darcy has been working hard for years, both at the High School level and the youth level, and the work with the youth is starting to pay off in a big way. I remember coaching Tim Neuman and Corey Elfman when they were in middle school and it's really neat to see them topping the area players all these years later even though it makes me feel way too old.

Congratulations to everyone, especially Coach Darcy; I dare say no one has invested as much time or effort in Madison lacrosse as he has and it's great to see him get recognized for his efforts.

Thanks for the kind words, Kevin. In my mind, it is a team honor....lots of folks helping us behind the scenes. We came up a short vs. Waunakee 10-7 but honestly I couldn't be prouder of our guys. Hope all's well with you...our goalie (going to be a senior) is really pumped up to attend UofM...he visted recently and loved it. I did get out to Denver for the MCLA play-offs...it was great.

Congrats Coach Darcy on such a tremendous honor. I know of your efforts in help building lacrosse in Madison from my days of playing along Robin Buckley with the Milwaukee/Mad Cow team. All your years of dedication and hard work have paid off for you and the Madison area.
