| We(AHS) didn't play so hot, but I have to give credit to Wausau...they came out strong and hard and their defense played out of their minds. Their goalie was making very good/crucial(sp?) saves all game. | |

| Well, as has been stated, they played poorly. We'll see a true gauge of comparison between the "mighty" bay val when they play Marquette tomorrow. |

| They lost to Appleton last year. 2 time state winners are still limited to Verona. |

| Poor showing by SP surprisingly.
I was impressed with Burger, and the long pole number 14 on AHS. Seems like SP had a lot of defensive breakdowns, and did not play well as a team. Everyone wanted to go to the goal by themselves, and there was lack of flow and passing on the offense.
I was also impressed with the transition game that Arrowhead played, that was the key to there game, along with longpoles.

| I thought Wausua had a much better team than SP, and yeah Matt Berger is real good for a junior. | |

Ya Berger put on a clinic today... and yes casey clark is amazing, but it did seem like arrowhead did clear it a litle to easily on SP... They didnt even have o get it tO A short pole, they just had the Long pole run it up which shouldnt happen but their d is just amazing... I know people have said that thats the reason y they are so good which is part of it... but i thought the offense dominated the game oday and the defense did a good job getting it back to the offense quick

| I was impressed with the #14 longpole on SP. We is smaller, but always played position and never lunged out of position. It seemed that the rest of SP was lunging too much causing them to be beaten. Also, surprised that SP didn't win more ground balls.
Arrowhead played extremely well, and always made the extra pass to ensure a goal. Transition game was textbook. Their middies immediately recognized the defense/offense switches.

wow that is pathetic compared to last year. Knoll (sp?) from AHS got like 91 with a D-pole last year and Shay (formerly appleton) and Brad (neenah) both shot 88 or 89 with their normal sticks

| Noll with a shorty though is mid 80s...so thats right on with last year.
also 4mph isnt that much of a difference...so I dont see how thats "pathetic."
I think that it was Berger(#17 AHS) and Grimes(#20 AHS) that got the 84mph.

I think that it was Berger(#17 AHS) and Grimes(#20 AHS) that got the 84mph. I saw a kid from Wausau (with a d-pole) hit 84 or 85.
