I can also help with the contact at UW Eau Claire. We had first year kids too and they ended up playing very well. Don't be shy and go out and play some lacrosse!

Do you have to be a student at the school to play on their lacrosse team in the MCLA?

Yeah, their rules are super strict. Pretty much exact same as the NCAA.

Hmmm... that sucks. Kansas University has a team as does Kansas State, but both are in the MCLA. Looks like im stuck with reffing or coaching next spring and playing summer ball for a mens team.

Rockhurst University also has a team according to their website, and it says they participate in the GRLC, but that is incorrect. You could contact them at

rockhursthawkslax@yahoo.com

Im not sure what there deal is but I know they are not MCLA, at least according to Laxpower, and I have also heard nothing about their program.

I forgot to post saying I appreciate the information, but I have yet to get a reply.

But yeah, found out you need to have at least 12 hours in the college you are attending to play for that team in the MCLA, so transfer hours is out of the question... pitty.

I really wish there was some non-MCLA lacrosse down here other than mens. But im on a mens team now and have my first game with them on satruday in Omaha, Nebraska.

I'll be at UWEC for fall ball, so I'll probably see you in a fall tourney. I'm transferring to the UofM (MCLA-A) this spring.
