Records for? Most returns will probably be a tough one to be for most people. but what other records has he broken? what records are you talking about him breaking? his 108 yrd return was broken this year so that one is out.

| Something I got in an e-mail:
John Madden was in Dallas to announce a football game one weekend when he noticed a special telephone near the Cowboys' bench. He asked QB Tony Romo what it was used for and was told it was a hotline to God. John asked if he could use it. Tony replied, 'Sure, but it will cost you $200. John scratched his head, then thought, what the heck, I could use some help picking games. He pulled out his wallet and paid $200. John's picks were perfect that week.
The next week, John was in Indianapolis when he noticed that same kind of phone on the Colts bench. He asked what the telephone was for and Manning told him, 'It's a hotline to God if you want to use it, it will cost you $500.' Recalling the previous week, John pulled out his wallet and made the call. John's picks were perfect again that week. Last weekend, John was in Green Bay, when he noticed the same kind of telephone by the Packers' bench. He asked Brett Favre 'Is that the hotline to God?' Brett said, 'Yes, and if you want to use it, it will cost you 50 cents.' John looked incredulously at Brett and said, 'Wait a second, I just paid $200 in Dallas and $500 in Indianapolis to use the same phone to God! Why do the Packers only charge 50 cents? Brett replied, 'Because in Wisconsin, it's a local call... Welcome to God's Country.'................. Go Packers!!!!!
Only logical thought is that Favre likes to talk to himself.

| I am surprised no one has mention that b.s. call in the 1st quarter that was reviewed and clearly showed Al Harris stripping the ball from T.O. and gaining possession, but still wasn't called in the Packers favor. That was just one of many calls that blew it for the Packers. Rigged, anyone? | |

Most returns will probably be a tough one to be for most people. but what other records has he broken? what records are you talking about him breaking? his 108 yrd return was broken this year so that one is out. Most Touchdown returns in a season (six) Most Touchdown returns (just kickoffs and punts) (five) Most Touchdown returns as a rookie (six) Most Touchdown returns in one game (two) (done twice) He's also two short of the career total return touchdowns record. I'm sorry but Favre's touchdown, passing, and winning records all get broken by BOTH Manning and Brady. I love Favre to death, but accept reality.

I like your logic, whitewater lacrosse, it's a rare virtue on these boards.
I'm looking forwards to hearing what you all have to say after the packers don't come close to winning the superbowl this year.

| sad thing about hester vs. favre is that favre has a much larger national following than hester does. the other sad thing about hester vs. favre is that no one really cares about a return man unless he is running back a touchdown a game, which hester is doing, but my point is that people like quarterbacks more than they like kick/punt returners. | |

| That sure is a nice, factually-laden, non-anecdotal statement you're putting out there. Anything else you can add to enrich our lives?

Maybe because Favre didn't play as good as he should have played last year... It's okay.. we'll be seeing Favre in it this year.

| I think Favre will be in the Probowl this year as a quarterback. As well as Hester.
And a no brainer is Tony Gonzales from KC, best TE in the NFL.

| Now now Storts, you can't get so fired up on a little internet forum. Some of us just don't spend time reliving the glory days like you do, your starting to sound like Uncle Rico.
I don't think any of us doubt that your "dream team" was the best team Wisconsin has known, but we don't need to take down Stoughton for it. Besides, last time I checked, if you wanna get into the whole "recruits" thing, Middleton has far more of those then Verona. I think our count is at...5 NCAA players. You guys are still ringing in at...1. Not to knock Kev, more likely then not he's the best Wisconsin player to date, and surely some of you guys could have walked the same path...but things aren't always as they seem.
Lets keep this forum free from this nonsense anymore, Storts, I know you cant contain yourself sometimes (reference TLF circa 2005) but this isnt the place. That goes for all you guys too, not just storts. Anymore of it, and things will be changed.
Oh and Hugo, don't feel so safe, you never know when Storts is going to unleash on the almighty Sun Praire. The man feels no sympathy..beleive me..Ive experienced it.
