Game Results Week of Sunday April 13

Arrowhead beat Stoughton 13-0, they stopped shooting at the beginning of the 4th quarter.

I heard Stoughton was in a crappy situation. Having to play their JV attack basically, because players set weak priorities. I think prom did the same thing to us last year.

I don't wanna throw out excuses as to why we got dominated, but we were out our second midfield line, two of our varsity attacks, and our best midfielder had to leave at the end of the first quarter. Then me(#54) and Tyler(#6) were playing with injuries that have impacted us so far this season. We had 16 kids show up.. 8 of them being JV players. Great game played on Arrowheads part.. I just wish we could have another shot at them. If we had our full team there we could have put up atleast 6-7 goals. ..hopefully

and AHSlax21.. the didn't stop shooting after the 4th. They stopped shooting with 6 minutes left in the game.

we started our stall after the first face off the 4th quarter. there may have been a few shots but not many, we mostly stalled.

Yay Janesville had a great 4th quarter and put together a nice comeback, i give them props, but i lost any respect 4 there coach who was talking trash the whole 2nd half

He was trying to get us fired up, and it worked. Players on your team did the same thing. (not trying to start stuff) You guys played a great first half. We came out flat footed.

No, we didn't mind the on the bus home thing, even though come on a coach shouldn't say that. It was the fact that after some of your goals he taunted our defense saying wheres the slide, and how bad we were. I mean he is a grown man that has a team down 8-2, then with some backups in his team scores and he trash talks to HS athletics, I mean he has to have some respect.

yea sounds pretty immature to me, he could have at least talked about it to his team... and not discouraged the other team. Sounds like a bender..

No coach should ever yell anything to an opposing player during a game. Post game is different, and it's of course different if there's some relationship between that coach and that player. But as a ref if a coach says something to an opposing player I'll call a penalty 90% of the time because they have no place doing that.

I don't know exactly how the situation played out, but if I was a ref and a coach was yelling at the other teams kids, I wouldn't hesitate to throw the flag.
