| That was not the final first team decision, I believe that was what I thought it would be when the first released a massive list of people.
It was...
First Team Position Last First # Grade School Attack Hummel Nick 18 12 Middleton Attack Brown Jesse 2 12 Verona Attack Olp Nick 9 12 LaFollette Attack Patrick Randy 17 11 Sun Prairie Attack Woock Jared 15 11 Waunakee Midfielder Wright Nate 5 11 Verona Midfielder Opsal Tim 21 12 Verona Midfielder Johnson Steve 31 12 Stoughton Midfielder Pernot Dan 12 12 Janesville Defense Helwig Chris 16 12 Verona Defense Hurd Cody 69 12 Middleton Defense Puskarich Matt 28 12 LaFollette Defense Snapper Josh 46 12 Regents Defense Spink Daunte 23 12 Sauk Defense Knipfer Richie 69 11 Stoughton Defense Maki Lance 14 11 Sun Prairie Goalie Baer Randy 4 12 LaFollette Goalie Kulinski Eric 6 12 Sun Prairie Goalie Urumoglu Nick 1 11 Verona
Which probably should have been narrowed down to.
First Team Position Last First # Grade School Attack Hummel Nick 18 12 Middleton Attack Patrick Randy 17 11 Sun Prairie Attack Woock Jared 15 11 Waunakee Midfielder Wright Nate 5 11 Verona Midfielder Opsal Tim 21 12 Verona Midfielder Johnson Steve 31 12 Stoughton Defense Hurd Cody 69 12 Middleton *LSM* Defense Snapper Josh 46 12 Regents Defense Knipfer Richie 69 11 Stoughton Defense Maki Lance 14 11 Sun Prairie Goalie Baer Randy 4 12 LaFollette
Not a true all-conference 1st team, because MALA did it awkward. But something that could/ should have been from what other players said. Goalie for MALA was really difficult to choose, since 3 were on first team.

| This is just from what I have seen out of these players. I have seen a lot of teams play so this is how I would vote. Say if you like it or if you don't. And if you don't put down what you think it should be.
First Team All-State Attack-Nick Hummel, Middleton; Zack Rigsby, Arrowhead; Randy Patrick, Sun Prairie
Midfield-Joe Botticelli, Eastside; Austin Grimes, Arrowhead; Alex Smith, Notre Dame
LSM-Garrett Fields, Marquette
Defense-Rich Poirier, Jr., Wausau; Sam Seramur, Marquette; Josh Snapper, Regents
Goalie-Alex Gradecki, Marquette
Second Team All-State Attack-Jared Woock, Wanaukee; Matt Ernst, Neenah; James Clemens, Bay Port
Midfield-Tom Casper, Marquette; Tim Opsal, Verona; Ben Fisher, Wausau
LSM-Cody Hurd, Middleton
Defense- Lance Maki, Sun Prairie; Dustin Henrichs, Wausau; Nick Hamacheck, Notre Dame
Goalie-Nick Urumoglu, Verona

nice exaggeration, I'm sure he "jumps on every shot" , i don't think i've seen a goalie that can make some of the amazing saves David has me this season in all the teams i've seen this year, which is almost every MALA and MAYLA team, and a couple BayVal

| No I am not exaggerating. Watch closely. I'm not saying he jumps out of the way. And yes you can make the saves he does against Wisconsin players with flawed technique. There's a handful of kids who have the velocity on their shots for it to matter. I'm just saying there's more complete goalies. | |

| Its a jump of celebration after a save. But anyways I was just trying to go off the idea that you had to make first team to make All-State. It would be cool if other posted what they think is the all-state teams, because I know I cant be 100% right. so we can debate it out and form an informal all state team. | |

| Well I'll talk about goalies because thats what I know. Tate Fuhrman (sp?) is easily the best out of MALA when it comes to form/talent. Gradecki is the best out of MAYLA and not having seen any GB teams play based off what I've heard Wausau's goalie. To rank those I'd go Tate, Wausau, Gradecki. | |

| what i dont understand is how tate furman, the goalie for middleton, is better than hoeft, the goalie for waunakee.
expecially since furman has let in 21 more goals than hoeft in those 4 games that the two teams played..
game 1-- 9-5 waunakee game 2-- 12-2 waunakee game 3-- 10-6 waunakee game 4-- 8-5 waunakee
furman--39 goals allowed(almost 10 allowed goals a game) hoeft-- 18 goals allowed(between 4 and 5 goals a game)
thast the head to head matchup.

| Ok a few goalie stats. according to laxpower.
Middleton- 4.68 GA, SOS #11 Verona- 5.55 GA, SOS #18 Waunakee- 4.60 GA, SOS #3 Wausau- 3.33 GA, SOS #22 Bay Port- 8.46 GA, SOS #17 Notre Dame- 6.50 GA, SOS #24 Arrowhead- 4.37 GA, SOS #7 Marquette- 6.05 GA, SOS #1
Now some had better poles in front of them then others.

This isn't just my thinking, the coaches obviously had a similar opinion. Besides my opinion doesn't make hoeft abad goalie. I just think fuhrman is better.

| its obvious the coaches didnt take the mala all conference seriously. 5 verona first teamers... out of 5 team nominations. conference champions with only 1 first teamer if my memory serves.. all conference this year cannot have any merit.
imo, probably only a few coaches took the voting seriously, and looked at it without a bias. aka, did it the right way

| nobody really has an idea of what they think the all state team should be? really? I just want people to throw out some of their ideas of the team and people can agree or disagree and we can come to a consensus of an informal team. Cuz the state really dosen't publish an all state team. | |
