Milwaukee Select Planning 2008 Summer Tour
The Milwaukee Select lacrosse team is planning its summer tour of lacrosse tournaments. Tryouts will be held on Monday, June 9th, Tuesday, June 10th & Thursday, June 12th from 4:30 - 7:00 PM (4:30-5:00 pm is registration and check-in).

Practices for the Milwaukee Select team will be held on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:00-8:00 PM for the both U16 & U18 teams. Location: Detzka Park.
Players will have the opportunity to play with some of the best in the league and against some of the best in the country. College coaches have been invited to each of these tournaments. Great opportunity to play against some of the best out there!
Milwaukee Select Lacrosse is a summer all-star team for high school players from throughout the greater Milwaukee area. Players should have played in the MAYLA spring league or be a resident in the area.
Milwaukee Select will have a U19 team and a U16 team this summer. The U18 team is for players who have not graduated from high school. U16 is rising freshmen and sophomores.
Coaches include Sidney Jones, Robin Buckley, Pete Callahan and college players.
Current tournaments include:
Milwaukee Lacrosse Festival - Brewtown Showdown on June 21st & 22nd(U16 & U18)
Great Lakes Lacrosse Invitational in Kalamazoo, MI on June 27th - 29th(U16 & U18)
Midwest Challenge at Notre Dame University in South Bend, IN : July 11th-13th(U18); July 25th-27th (U16)
Chicago Challenge at Benedictine University in Lisle, IL: July 18th - 20th (U16); July 25th - 27nd (U18)
Cost: Tryout Fee - $10
Team Fee: $325 - Team fee includes uniforms(shorts, jersey), coaches, administration, equipment, fields and the Milwaukee Lacrosse Festival & Great Lakes tournament. The teams will travel as a carpool to each of these events. Note: NCAA rules dictate that the team camps are charged on a per person basis.
Notre Dame Team Camp: U18 - $325 per person, U16 $300 per person; Leave Friday morning and check in at 11:30 AM, return Sunday late afternoon after last game.
Chicago Challenge - $325 per person. Leave Friday morning and check in at 11:00 AM, return Sunday late afternoon after last game.
