Middleton won the Sticks and Stones tournament in Illinois today.

They went 5-0, beating Waubansie Valley, and Geneva on saturday, then Appleton and two other Illinois teams this morning and afternoon.

Apparently Evan Craine went off for a ton of goals. Check the kid out, he improved tenfold in the off season and might be Middletons best attackman

Technically, it was 4-0. Stoughton wasn't able to make the tournament. All three WI that were at the tournament took home hardware. Sun Prairie and Appleton too. A great way to represent some WI lacrosse!

Nothing agaisnt the Wisco teams, but that makes me assume that the IL teams weren't that good.

Supposedly, all the teams we played were in the IL B division. I don't know what the difference between their A and B divisions is.

Actually O' Fallon (One of the teams they played) isn't in Chicago at all. It would be more accurate to call it a suburb of St.Louis just on the illinois side. They are a recently new varsity program that plays more Missouri schools then Illinois.

Congrats on the wins.

we kicked butt. And some of the teams were in fact good. We were just better, we have come together as a team and our chemistry is set. We were even missing a top attackman (kyle bonebrake). Evan Craine played out of his mind i think he put up like 8-10 goals on the weekend. The other attackman Riley and Jack really showed them what they had too. Midfielder Casey Kelso played amazing. LSM Tyler lundey was the best one at the tourny. Our defense played physical as hell. We read and shut down any type of offense that was played against us. The O' Fallon coach actually told our coach that they were scared to come into the middle because we were hitting to hard. Both of our goalies Tate and Tom played sick all weekend. In the Championship game tate had 2 saves that were espn highlight material. It was unreal.

Tomorrow Vs. Verona will be our first game this season with nobody out.
