well, the parade down wisconsin ave went from about 9;30 til 11;15ish, 7500 motorcycles. it was glorious. great way to start the day.

I cant wait until they actually start enforcing the law on exhaust loudness.

How can anyone stand how loud they are? I got suck riding behind two of them this summer...I couldn't hear myself think. The second I got to a passing zone I just zipped by them, but I can promise you 90% of Harleys out there don't have legal exhausts on them. Only reason cops don't care about it is because Milwaukee has a very large Harley owner population.

okay, im a bit too drunk to able to properly address this argument. but, as a Harley-Davidson Employee and Enthusiast, i can assure you that significantly more than "half of the Harleys out there" do indeed have legal exhaust systems.

Furthermore, Get used to it. You're a native of the town that houses the largest motorcycle manufacturer on the planet. If nothing else you should feel a distinct sense of pride when you hear that unmistakable rumble that has graced the roadways of America, and the rest of the world, for the past 105 Years.

So go ahead, zip around on your foreign go-fast machine. talk to me in about 12 years when you've visited over 100 chiropractors complaining about your backpains from riding a crotch rocket for so long.

Screaming Eagle exhausts are over the legal dB limit. I would say 90% of Harley owners have them installed on their bikes. As for the riding position of sport bikes...I like it. I don't ride one to go fast, I ride one because I like them, they can actually turn, unlike cruisers(ie, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ZFpIpaFMlc ), and they are 1/2 the price.

In the end...I don't really hate Harleys, I like everything with two wheels. I just hate how they feel that they are more special and therefore don't have to abide by the law.

Harley's are rediculous. They claim to be this great American company, but most their parts are ordered overseas. Plus I hate going down the highway and having some morons driving side by side and covering more than the lane they're supposed too. Conclusion: People on Harley's piss me off when I drive because they think they own the road, at least people on those silly Japanese toys like SiouxLax just pass you and move on.

With school starting for most of you now, homework is going to be happening sooner than you think. I know that maybe 75% of us listen to music while doing homework. Side note, 90% of Harley owners DO NOT have screamin' eagle pipes. Thats a guarantee. In fact, I the majority use Vance and Hines or Rinehart pipes. Most people with screamin' eagle pipes have them if they ride Screamin' Eagle models.

The first eight Harley owners off the top of my head (Me, father, brother, grandpa, uncle, and three family friends) do not have Screamin' Eagle pipes.

I still like Crotch Rockets, but the people riding them determine my final say. Im sure Anthony is a good rider, but no one can argue the stereotype following rice rocket riders is somewhat accurate.

Not too say there isn't moron Harley riders as well.

I agree Jaron, there are PLENTY of people on sport bikes that have no business doing so(the people who decide just because they can to go 140+ down the highway for example).
