| our AD, Dan Hardwick, seems to like the Lacrosse team(he's from canada), it's the school's administration that doesnt seem to care very much for us. I actually kinda like our AD, he's a good guy who does his job VERY well. | |

| ADs dont like lacrosse because its a club sport, and takes athletes away from other spring sports like Track, and more importantly, Baseball.
Our AD liked us in STL cause our coach let him handle all like policy issues such as suspensions, grades, drinking, all that stuff. Made him feel like he ran our team. | |

| i find that it is the football coaches who hate us the most... they threatened starting positions of a few guys on our team if they played lacrosse.... spring rolled around and all the sudden they're running in an oval around a track and tossing around an overgrown frisbee.
believe me track CAN be fun... but that's a big can and a lot of times it just blows. | |

| we used to have an AD who was a prick and ended up getting fired for making fun of the soccer team he loved only Basketball and only tolerated any other sport. Now we got a cool AD who is great with the Lax team and is finally supporting Hockey as a WIAA sport for Bay Port | |

| I think they didnt have AC last year becuase Jace was supposed to organize how it was to be done, but he didnt know it was his job because the board never told him, or something like that. I think Jace can clarify. | |

that was the case. during the summer after the season i was sent a email saying "why didn't AC happen this year?". i replied and pretty much said... "what are you talking about?" and yeah, no one told me until after the season had ended. i was supposedly linked on emails but i never received anything. and for this year, i'm not doing it either... so you heard it here first! | |

| This year, the MALA board has directed each team to submit no more than 5 players per team for all-conference. Therefore, the White and Red divisons can each have up to 25 players named. Doing it this way allows coaches to nominate those players they feel are most deserving and allows more players the chance to be honored. Coaches submit for their own team and can also name players from other teams (these don't count against the five for each team in each division). Players will be named formally by MALA before the State Tournament. Players mentioned by opposing coaches will be so designated and will therefore get a litttle extra recognition. | |

| That should work. The way they do it for the Milwaukee conference is that each coach just gets 2 votes per spot on the AC team. So in total they get 22 votes I think(2 for goalie, 6 for attack, 6 for mid, 6 for defense, 2 for lsm). | |

| They should nominate a specialist position for F/O as well. This is how every All State/All Conference system works. | |

| The Bay Valley will be picking a First and Second Team all-conference line-up. Players can not be nominated by their own coaches, so mominations come from peers to avoid any perceived favoritism.
This will be our third year of selecting All-Conference.
Following nomination, our coaches are asked to vote on nominated players; with the highest vote getters being selected to the First Team and so-on down the line.
I am hopeful that this list will be available by June 1st and I will post it.
Also, my understanding from the last WLF meeting is that MALA and MAYLA will be selecting all-conference teams. I believe MAYLA is only selecting a first team.
If there is interest, it might be nice to have the all-conference teams from each conference play one another in some type of exhibition. Let me know if players would be interested in doing this post-playoffs.

| I was led to believe that MALA was forming a select team, and already had games scheduled versus MALL's and Green Bay's select teams? Not necessarily the same as "All Conference" but close enough. | |

| I think the idea of an inter-conference round robin between the all-conference teams would be cool. I know that each area already has select teams, but, for Milwaukee at least, the select team only contains freshmen-juniors. An inter-conference round robin would be a fun event, especially for the seniors that do not have an opportunity to play for a select team. | |

| Wierd way to put up all conference like that. Much better when seperated into first team, second team and honorable mention.
-----
1st Team All-Conference Attack - Nick Hummel (12) #18 Middleton Attack - Jared Woock (11) #15 Wanaukee Attack - Randy Patrick (11) #17 Sun Prairie FO - Zach Transue (11) #25 Stoughton Midfield - Kiel Peterson (10) #2 Middleton Midfield - Nate Wright (11) # Verona Midfield - Tyler Fix (11) #3 Wanaukee LSM - Cody Hurd (12) #69 Middleton Defense - Lance Maki (11) #14 Sun Prairie Defense - Chrish Helwig (12) #16 Verona Defense - Tyler Brewster (11) #20 Wanaukee Goalie - Nick Urumoglu (11) #1 Verona
2nd Team All-Conference Attack - Kyle Bonebrake (11) #17 Middleton Attack - Chris Severson (11) #11 Wanaukee Attack - Jesse Brown (11) #2 Verona Midfield - Tim Neuman (11) #7 West Midfield - Austin Wills (12) #25 Lafollette Midfield - Steve Johnson (12) #31 Stoughton Defense - Richie Knipfer (11) #69 Stoughton Defense - Josh Snapper (12) #46 West Defense - Matt Puskarich (12) #28 Lafollette Goalie - David Hoeft (12) #10 Wanaukee
After talking to like, two people and basing some off of what I saw last year, I got bored and seperated into first and second team. Added FO and LSM to 1st team, cuz Hurd is beast on LSM and I am not sure between Kiel or Transue on who is FO. But I know even last year Transue won a ton of FO's but usually didnt have wing men to back him.
Open to move people around, lets see.

If i had to choose I'd trade Tate from Middleton for any of them. He's the best goalie I've seen in the state, 100% hands down. | |

is there like a limit to how many players can be in this "all conference" thing? Looking at the other defenders i was pretty sure that #91 tyler lundy of middleton is better than alot of the other defenseman, just what i think though.. | |
