Watch out for Mad Cow. I hear Mad Cow's goalie is coming back after a year off. The old guys could make some noise.

The bigger guy in the goal for madcow last year?

It was unlucky for us that he was injured during our game, the kid they put in in his place did twice as good as he was doing.

Games are just around the corner everybody.

I was suprised to hear you guys won. Thats pretty sick, take it you had a better turn out than the scrimmage vs. Madison.

to be honest, in that game we were missing a number of our better players due to work. overall it was a hell of a game, started at the faceoff with our team... then executing the right plays and also getting quality shots on the net.

meanwhile marquette was fully stacked, tons of players on the sideline and still didn't beat us.

yea UWM runs a wonderful circle offense, it's unconventional yet effective. MU was not ready for it.

Just curious as to how a circle offense can be considered unconventional. If that's how you think, our offense is going to be licking their chops for our U of M vs. Marquette game.

Also, I have never heard of Golden E, who are they?

Kurt Heyde plays defense and, last I checked, was team Prez/Treasurer. He graduates this spring.

What is the surface like at Valley Fields? Are you able to wear cleats, or is it astro turf? I can't remember, haven't been down there in awhile.

Its carpet. Really. There is no "turf" to that field. So tennis shoes or indoor soccer cleats would work best.

for all intents and purposes.... the lacrosse field on campus at Marquette(where the games will be held) is an astroturf field, so it is basically a rubber carpet. bring tennis, or basketball shoes. cleats are not going to work(unless they change the location).

With the first GLLLLLLLLLL games being played on the 22nd, with more games being played on the weekend of the 29th, how are all the GLLL teams looking to fair out this year?

I know we here at Stout have a decent team. Nothing stellar.
River Falls destroyed us in a box game earlier, but this same thing happened last year (They beat us in box, we beat them on field.) I know our D is strong again.

I haven't heard much from other teams...

Maybe get a thread going where people can post reviews of their games? I would like to read about a teams review before we go play them.
