Yeah sorry about that. I wasn't sure if it was 3-1 or 4-1 so I just guessed, my bad. Regardless, it was a fun game. We look forward to playing you guys again May 10th.

I'm looking forward to the Arrowhead Marquette game late in the season both teams should only improve. By the way does anyone know why Arrowhead plays Marquette twice?

Robin set up the entirety of MAYLA schedule with every team playing each other once. Then, because some teams were having difficulty scheduling out-of-conference games, Robin decided to schedule four extra in-conference games, with the teams being picked randomly.

I know Robin was just trying to help out by scheduling the extra games, though it kind of sucked for us because not only were unable to schedule more out-of-conference games, but he also scheduled them to be at the end of the year which means that every MAYLA team has a grueling final two weeks before the conference playoffs.

Though anyways, the Marquette-Arrowhead game on May 2nd should be a sweet one. I know it is a game that we have circled on our calendars. Last year at Arrowhead, hundreds of people came out to watch the game, hopefully we can draw similar numbers this year!

The May 2nd game will be played at Mt. Mary College (MUHS' home field).

Darn, that's played 5 days before I'll get home. I also agree with you Fields, I loved the attendance at those games. I don't care who loses or wins(ok...maybe I do), I'm just glad to see people actually come to the games.

We play Marquette again on May 22 at Arrowhead.

By the way... Check Your Lacrosse Mag issues this week... In the H.S. preview section they say how Howard commented on no HS lax in La Crosse as well as the AHS-Marq game last year having 1,000 people in attendance (sp?)

I saw that article. Did you guys really get 1,000 people out to a game?

That might be a tad high but it really was a lot of people

there were at least 300-500, and there were over 1000 at the state final.

I have a feeling the AHS vs. MUHS games are always gunna be intense.

One of them is more than likely going to have a better record than the other, but in the case they have the same record at the end of the regular season I think the tie breaker is 'goals allowed'. Someone chime in if I'm wrong.
