| Long Stick Middie easy, sexiest position in Lacrosse, only the best athletes can play it. (or play it well at least) It is easily the most fun position to play. | |

| nah that is your fourth d man he doesn't count as a lsm because he will get off when you get the ball down the feild. besides you haven't come up with a counter point to my other point | |

| Thats not true. The LSM counts as a middie and can clear (and sometimes score) by himself, or at least thats how we play it. | |

and so can your defense but does your LSM ever stay out after getting the ball to your attacking end? even on man down situations?

and so can your defense but does your LSM ever stay out after getting the ball to your attacking end? even on man down situations? it depends on the situation and where people are on the field. if the lsm clears the ball all the way down field, a textbook fast break would involve the lsm pitching it off to an attackman or another middie and then almost immediatley taking the pass back for a quick shot.... i've seen it tried but it didnt work. but in general the lsm goes on for F/O's and defense-both mandown and even-up.

| the lsm is your fourth pole correct, however, your lsm plays midfield on defense, so when a middie comes back for d do yo all of a sudden refer to him as the 1st 2nd or 3rd shorty...no they are still middies and the fact that one of them has a pole makes no difference...an lsm goes on for the face and also subs to play d thats his job, lsm are not exactly made for playing offense...they are a special teams kind of player | |

| yea, if the LSM intercepts a pass or gets a ground ball and creates a fast break, runs down.... etc. then he participates in the offense..very rarely
at camp, we had our best Dpole do the bravehearts in the event of a tie, it worked pretty well.

| I would deffinately say goalie. Ive been in goal here and there when no one else was around, and I picked it up alright. Mostly team scrimmages and just shooting around with buddies.
I even stepped up and played goal at U-Bay once when my bro was going through his cycle.

| I like to play defense on the left side of the crease, which opens up the attackman's hands to my stick checks. I suppose playing crease is a nice change of pace. Hmm...playing on the right side is nice at times, too. | |
