well put but then again there always seems to be an element of confrontation on Wisconsin threads/forums. we are controversy loving state it seems

| First off Marquette, you lose to Waunakee by more than Verona did. Verona is an absolutely pathetic team this year (hate to say it). There is no excuse, even bad reffing. Sid Flanders could not have managed that kind of loss. Second, the problem in Wisconsin, which is why we fight over it so often, is lack of non conference games. Conferences need to not limit out of conference games, if teams choose to go out and play other teams, they should be allowed to, its a setback to the state, and because of that theres so many question marks that we are able to complain.
Side note, first thread I've read, but Middleton/SP postponed to Monday. Coaches both agreed they didn't want weather to have any effect on who won, I agreed 100% |

| MUHS/Eastside postponed until tomorrow. game was 3-2 at halftime; a dark horizon to the west with visible lightning and thunder in the distance.... 3rd quarter starts and eastside gets a lucky goal.... another lightning strike within sid jones' 15 second rule(see lightning, count 15 seconds b4 thunder and you can still play).... sid flanders says it's okay to go. marquette rings two posts and eastside's goalie comes out of crease and gives a nasy crosscheck to the face that would have prevented the game from going 4-3 in favor of marquette....not sure if goalie should have had to serve the penalty, i dont think they had a backup goalie, but he didnt--whatever it doesnt matter--just happend to catch my attention... eastside picks up a hardfought groundball, sprints downfield, marches straight through the crease and scores.... 4-3 in favor of eastside. another lightning strike and almost immediate thunder.... sid flanders shouts to everyone "Get Off The Field!!!" people rush for the cars, players look at eachother and say under their breath "screw that i wanna finish this" and then the game gets postponed until tomorrow. whether or not they will be playing the rest of the second half... replaying the second half, or starting over with a clean sheet and 4 quarters is up to the coaches... but i'd just like to say i'm not a big fan of thunderstorms right now . when(time) and where the game is to be replayed, i have not yet heard, and i'm a bit cross about the whole ordeal(especially the untimely weather) because i wont be able to play at all tomorrow{out of town} now i have a history about complaining about the reffs and i mentioned them a lot in this post...but i want to say that tonight they were calling a very good game.... it may have been a bit tight, but they werent letting anything slide. i also like sid flanders' liscense plate: IREFLAX... pretty cool if you ask me. | |

| A Sid Flanders fan? Wow man... I'm at a loss for words, I'm not sure if I should be shocked, amazed, in awe, or should be finding you a lethal injection as your only form of savior. |

| Marquette was down two goals going into the 4th. Then scored two really quick goals, and eventually the go ahead. It was an ok game. It was entertaining because it was so close, but the game was sloppy and the ball was on the ground a lot. | |

| Arrowhead-14 MUHS-6
the only thing marquette can take away from this game is that they were the first team this year to put more than 5 goals in the net on schweitzer. they played with a lot of heart, but heart doesnt count for much when you cant make the right passes. game was played with 15 min. quarters--which isnt much of an issue it just delayed the game for 10 min in the 3rd when robin buckley finally picked up on it and then had to have a small conference with the coaches/refferee's. a lot of arrowhead's points were from unsettled situations.
good game AHS. I guess i might just get my wish on wednesday when Marquette plays either Middleton or Sun Prairie. AHS will play Neenah or Wausau?

| marquette had some nice goals...some good feeds cross crease that i was just boned on and had no chance of saving...they played aight but it got rough at times on both ends just because we were all gettin pissed at each other....we had maybe five unsportsmanlike conduct penaltys per team i would say...it got phsical but it was a good game | |
