| Sun Prairie beat Stoughton 14-9
They were up 7-2 by at the end of the 1st.. If you ask me, that was a great way to end the season.. without winning.

| SP 10, Stoughton 8 going into the 4th I might add.
They were getting mad that we were playing such a strong game and not giving in. It seemed as if we were done in the 1st quarter, but we picked up and stayed strong thru the end, it was 12-9 til about 3 left, then there was two goals towards the end that were a little iffy. One was a hockey flip and went off our goalies elbow, and the other was a lost rebound that hit the ground and spun into the goal.
But it was a huge improvement from the 14-1 loss at hte begining of the season to a 14-9 loss. And it was quite cleaner too.

USM took an early lead in the first 2 min. and then Marquette made it 3-1 by the end of the first and never let go of the lead. USM made things interesting. They fought for every ground ball and came out with a lot of fire. it just wasnt enough to pull off the victory. the closest it got was a the beginning of the 4th when they made it USM-4 and MUHS-5, but then Marquette got two more, one off of a man-up opportunity. finally, USM's #10 had a huge jumpshot from about 12 yards out with about 13 seconds left that would seal the final score.

| Middleton Waunakee was a great very well played game. Nothing real dirty, only 2-3 personal fouls during the game. Great season to Waunakee, with only a couple seniors they'll be real good for years to come. Middleton vs Sun Prairie tomorrow from what I can tell. |

| 14-15 r u kiddin me and other people think that middleton could beat arrowhead when they allowed 5 against Waunakee. Arrowheads defense is way too fast and their stick skills are incredable. If they end up playing, Middleton wont put in more that 6 against that defense. | |

You know absolutely nothing do you. I've reffed both teams more than once, and honestly, this amazing Arrowhead defense you speak of will not shut down Middleton's attack. They easily have the best attack unit in the state, EASILY. Plus, you can't play you're the best defense when theres only one other competitive team in your conference, and judging from Waunakee trouncing Marquette, maybe even no competition. Waunakee is Madison's 3rd best, TROUNCING your second best. |
