| Mainly for the 2 Janes guys we have here... I was just curious how its going down there? Has there been more interst since there were games played this year? How much will it be growing in the future? Expansion of teams (jv and varsity)? Expansion of more Janesville teams, sinc there is a few schools down there? More players?
Also, is Janesville closer to Madison or Beloit?

| Beloit. We don't know if our team will stay a club team we are still pending with Craig High School. Right now we are a club opened to anyone who is willing to travel to Janesville for practices/games. We had a kid from Delavan recently play on our team, but hes graduated. We also have a few parker kids and next year some Milton freshman maybe joining as well. We are doing Varsity right now, as for jv if the interest grows probably. | |

| i doubt that we will get into the school system this year because our athletic director is anti-lacrosse (don't ask why, there's really no real reason), but a lot of freshman have been coming up to me and asking me about it | |

| yes, there is interest, and we will most likely have a jv and a varsity program next year but we will still be a club. like tidbits said, our athletic director isnt to hot on the idea of a lacrosse team for the school, but eventually the club will split into two seperate teams, 1 for craig , and 1 for parker. but that is a ways down the road. and janesville is closer to beloit | |

| Thats great to hear. I was just curious about Beloit for the fact if you get a few more teams down there you can almost have your own conference down there. Really, if you want more kids, in the fall get posters up all over the place, go to other nearby towns and hang get them hung up there. Posters and signs are nothing if your getting a few players out of it.
They did that at our one middleschool in Stoughton and had nearly 20 kids pick the game up.

| Our downfall is the lack of experienced knowledge of the game. Most buying of our gear was done through a college kid. The only store close to us was in Middleton also. Next year we need to get that sorted out better and at a greater speed. We had to cut practices short due to lack of gear. | |

| If you guys need help during the winter next year give me a jingle. Whitewater's only about 20 minutes away and if you get some indoor things going I'd be glad to go help out. |

| Athletic Directors are Anti-Lacrosse because it is not a WIAA sport and deters athletes from participating in WIAA Sanctioned Spring sports like baseball. | |

| ya, and in my opinion it is pretty sad that an ATHLETIC director doesn't want a lacrosse team because it takes players away from sports like baseball. its not like playing lacrosse is a negative thing to do | |

lacrosse will always be club until the WIAA sanctions it as a varsity sport... i believe the number i heard was 80 varsity programs throughout the state before it was fully sanctioned? if girls lacrosse sees some of the same growth that the boys game has, then that would certainly help getting our sport recognized by the WIAA. until then, all teams will be labled as "club"

| Actually, Dicks on the East Side of Madison carries lacrosse equipment. Not as good of quality as Middleton Fitness, but deff. is way closer than Middleton is to Jainsville | |

| Madison East is actually pretty far from Middleton. If you're on the west side then you're pretty close to Middleton Fitness.
But, do you think I could get your coaches Email seeing as how he plays on MadCow? I'm going to try to pull a couple of the Madison players on the team to see if they want to take a coaching position.
