they lost a hefty portion of their leadership to graduation, they have a few stand out players left, but i think that the new AHS squad will be relying heavily on their underclassmen to step up and make plays this coming spring. Someone back me up or shut me down. conversely, Marquette lost 3 players to graduation, one of which had any real impact on the game (an attackman). Eastside is also in a similar situation as marquette's in that they have yet to graduate their top players. I'm calling out Kettle moraine as my other upset specialist based upon the growth of their underclassmen over the past year and their coaching.

| Im surprised no one has mentioned Colton Warner.
Hes planning on playing for D3 Carthage and with an injury free season should be a top player.

Played alot with him between indoor and tournaments, impressed me the most out of the Verona kids. Plus got along with him with us both being swimmers. I was suprised of his skill level as a sophmore and junior I guess, I thought he had graduated, so now seing him to be playing another season is nice to hear, he should shine for sure.

Someone back me up or shut me down. Yes and no. We lost all our Defense/Goalie. We only had one non-senior D-pole. Offensive wise we will be fine, our higher scoring players were juniors and sophomores last year. The big thing is though that our team played very well together last year, and since 8-10 players graduated(about half the team) it'll be hard for them to get the chemistry going again. I have no doubts that IF they fill the gaps in defense, it'll be a solid crew. But if we had pre-season ranking, I don't know if I would put AHS at #1, top 5 for sure though.

| I couldnt agree with you more anthony. The fact that we graduated some many senoirs will not have that big of an affect on the team. With so many people trying out we should be able to find 4 decent defensmen. | |

| MALA Who to Look for '08
Verona: Dark Horse, I think they'll turn some heads. Colton can flat out FLY. Midfield Colton Warner Attack Sean Nelson Goalie Nick Urmaglu
Waunakee:Athletic midfield, Large Defense Kid who goes by "Wook"
Sun Prairie:Play together like a team. Hard to beat them when they are on their game. Mally The Goalie is pretty sick Like 13 other Seniors
Regents: Neuman Eli Giant Defenders
Middleton:They have a ton of talent, as always the issue will be getting them to mesh together. Nick Hummell #18 Kyle Bonebrake #17 Cody Hurd #69 Casey Kelso #21 Ben Melum #20 Kiel Baitinger #2 Nick Fass - Freshman with a TON of promise
Lafollette: Anthony Showers - if he can keep his cool, hes a solid player.
Sauk, Stoughton, Oregon, Memorial, Janesville: Can't honestly think of any players who will be difference makers. The league is extremely top heavy this upcoming season
My Predictions: I think these divisions are correct, correct me if im wrong. State is in Madison again this year. Madison receives 2 state bids.
MALA White t1. Waunakee OR t1. Sun Prairie t3. Lafollette t3. Stoughton 5. Janesville
MALA Red 1. Middleton 2. Verona 3. Regents 4. Sauk Prairie 5. Memorial
BayVal 1. Wausau 2. Neenah 3. Appleton 4. Bayport 5. Menasha 6. Notre Dame 7. Southwest 8. DePere 9. Metro
MALL 1. Marquette t2. Arrowhead t2. Eastside t4. Kettle Morraine t4. Northshore 6. Brookfield 7. USM 8. Kenosha 9. Heritage Christian 10. Oconomowoc
(italics indicate state participants)
State Final Four:
Middleton vs Marquette Waunakee/Sun Prairie vs Wausau

| Jack one thing you got wrong that i know about, is Anthony Showers, hes ok(no offence anthony) but he's are 5th best attack on the team, if any body from lafollette would b up there it would Matt Puskarich, or Jon Dettwiler | |

| I'm a 100% sure that Wyss graduated. That certainly doesn't mean that Waunakee is hurting on talent. They're a very good team. | |

it takes a couple years to develop as a varsity team. you guys will get there. - Nate wrote:

I admire your confidence. In efforts to stay unbiased, i'll keep my comments to myself. We'll see come April 20th vs Sun Prairie (and maybe even earlier when they redo the schedules to add Waunakee.)

I guess only Transue and Kind may be known. Only Stoughton kids since I've been playing that have made All-Conference. Other than that, I dont expect you to know of anyone beyond Nate flaunting their names.

| Although I do not know much about Stoughton, you Stoughton guys can't argue that it is hard for any of us to pick you as a favorite. Citing past seasons, and the lack of basically any all conference picks, you shouldn't be surprised this is the case.
That being said, you shouldn't let anything said on here get you down, none of us know as much about your guys teams as you guys do and obviously, anything said on here will not affect what actually happens. I wish you guys the best in your season.

I wish you guys the best in your season. That is a great point. I never really hold it against you guys either way. Only way I sometimes get mad is when you look past us saying we'll be the same ol Stoughton team. But whatever.. I can understand it better now that I think of it like that.
